Chanel silk Little Black Dress from the 03P, 2003 Spring collection, a favorite of many Chanel lovers.

This dress is black, slightly heavy silk with a chiffon top, lined with more silk. It zips up the back with a hidden zipper. It buttons at the back of the neck where the chiffon is. There is a metal rectangle that says "Chanel" at the hip. There are 3 overlapping ruffles at the bottom, and 3 horizontal strips of fabric, each 3" wide across the hips. The chiffon at the back of the neck has an 11" long open space which looks like an exaggerated keyhole opening.

This dress is a casual fit which can be transformed into a formal cocktail dress with dressy accessories. A dress with subtle sophistication.
