these memento mori rings are an absolute labor of love. each one is different, and each one takes approximately a month from first imagining tomanifestation.

the slightly rose gold 10k skull came from an old fraternal pin, which I lovingly hand filed the Greek enameled letters off of. I sourced a perfect, pre-loved 10k yellow gold band with diamond accents reminiscent of billowing sleeves, with white gold overlay around the settings for a little extra shine. My brilliant jeweler swapped the paste eyes for diamonds, removed the hardware, and laser soldered the piece together, leaving the enameled facial features intact.

some of the tiny accent diamonds have surface wear including scratches and tiny tiny chips, all of which are visible under magnification — some examples are down in photos

the Greek enamel letters were filed off the forehead, and there's a faint hint of that adventure

there is some wear to the enameled nose and teeth, but enamel is a lesson in non-attachment
